When we saw this blanket, we could not resist. It is going to make a very usable item for the remote river villages of the Amazon. It is a great blanket for moms to use on the floor in the homes in the village for their kids. The floors mostly have a rough painted surface. Splinters are common and dirt and sand is hard to keep out. It can also be used as a wind and rain cover for small boat travel which is a very common way to get from village to village. This is one of our favorite items in our Care&Share program and when you purchase these blankets they go directly to a remote village and the proceeds as well. This is a perfect blanket for outdoor events. Concerts, picnics, the beach or anywhere you need to relax on the ground. The size is 5 FT by 4.5 FT. It has a comfortable fleece top and a PEVA bottom. It rolls up into its own case as well. If you purchase one of these blankets for yourself the proceeds will go to help our Care&Share program.
