Description

Tadpoles have been around at Pyramid Lake for years. They have taken over the top spot for foam flies used at Pyramid Lake since the inception of the Pilot Peak Cutthroat. These flies are usually fished with a shooting head either as a dropper or point fly on a two fly system. They can really be effective in situations where there is moss or grass on the bottom. Foam back flies change the action up a bit and can keep flies just off the bottom in the zone. These flies are tied with the original Loco Foam designed by Blane Chocklett and the idea of having a sheen on foam and  using Loco Foam for Pyramid Lake flies was an idea created by Andy Burk. These flies are a must have for the serious Pyramid Angler. You will not find the Original Loco Beetles and Tadpoles anywhere else. Size 6
