Description

Pyramid Lake Beetles were created by long time Pyramid fisherman Ike Berry. They have been around at Pyramid Lake since the 1990’s. These flies are usually fished with a shooting head either as a dropper or point fly on a two fly system. They can really be effective in situations where there is moss or grass on the bottom. Foam back flies change the action up a bit and can keep flies just off the bottom in the zone. These flies are tied with the original Loco Foam designed by Blane Chocklett and the idea of having a sheen on foam beetles using Loco Foam was an idea created by Andy Burk. These flies are a must have for the serious Pyramid Angler. You will not find the Original Loco Beetles and Tadpoles for a better price anywhere. Size 8

The Pyramid Lake Beetle in some form is in every fly box of every serious Pyramid Lake fly Fisherman.
